W A T C H Y O U S A Y ? . . .
This week a new web site was launched that lists the most frequently misheard pop lyrics. (Check it out on www.kissthisguy.com)

Yep, some of the partially deaf have often mis- heard many classics over years, including Whitney Houston’s heart felt lyric: ‘Tonight I celebrate my love for you’ which is often misheard as: ‘Tonight I cellotape my gloves for you’,

Other such classics include the Spice Girl’s smash ‘2 become 1’ which has the line:"Say you’ll believe it", which every deaf donkey hears as:"Say you’re bulimic’ (which is ironic if you look at Posh Spice these days!).

But, the most misheard lyric of all time is of course Elton John’s ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’ which I must admit does sound a lot like 'Don’t let your son go down on me'.

However, I’m pretty sure those were the exact words Elton was screaming as he gave a young homeless boy a bath in one of his ‘Elton John Homeless Shelters’ in Romania earlier this year.

And judging by the large gurgling sound coming from the bathroom I think Elton’s plea definitely did fall on deaf ears.
