Y O U R E N I C K E D . . .
Poor old Lenny Kravits! Not only is he as popular these days as an evening with Bobby Davero , but this week he was wrongfully arrested in L.A.

Our Len was innocently walking home from his work out at the gym (where Lenny sits next to the female changing rooms and ‘works out’) when before you could say ‘Fly Away’ out pops two cops and arrested Lenny who they thought was a notorious bank robber!

Lenny was ‘shell shocked’ and pleaded for his freedom as he was handcuffed and led away to a waiting police van. Last night he phoned me, sobbing like a gorilla in a cement mixer, he said....

" I kept telling the cops I was Lenny Kravits, but for some reason it only made things worse?
They tightened the handcuffs and started beating me. It was as if they actually hated me even more."

Finally, the bank manager was called in to identify the robber, but unfortunately was unable to pick out Lenny in the line up!

Last night Police tried to play down Lenny’s arrest. A Miami Beach police spokesman said:
"Usually we don’t handcuff unless we’re provoked, but from what our officers saw, it looked as if Lenny had a large fire arm in the pocket of his tight satin flares."
